Swarovski Lovlots City Park Video on YouTube

In the past, I have posted links to Swarovski Videos on YouTube.  Still not posted to the KristallBuzz was the Swarovski City Park Video with the cartoonish Lovlots critters.  The Swarovski Lovlots City Park group was released in 2010.  Swarovski City Park critters include:

Swarovski Mini Cooper – Crystal Blinged to Celebrate Royal Wedding

Swarovski has posted a short video of the Swarovski Mini Cooper on YouTube.  In it, you see the white Mini Cooper blinged out with big Swarovski crystal swans on all sides of the car.  The top of the Mini Cooper is a British flag.

The crystal brand included several consumer interviews during the video clip, and all were happy to take away a complimentary Swarovski Wedding Pen.  The look-alike royal couple posed for photos with the car and attending patrons.

This is not the first Mini Cooper to be embellished with Swarovski crystals.  I found several articles about a Swarovski Mini Cooper decorated in 2008, which had been dubbed an ‘American Icon’.  Utilizing over 1,000,000 Swarovski stones, this Swarovski Mini Cooper features pictures of scenery only found in USA, such as: The Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, The White House, The American Flag and Eagle, and more.  This other Swarovski Mini Cooper has toured the USA and been displayed in museums in the past.

Swarovski Crystal – A Swarovski Elements Dancer Video

Yesterday, I mentioned that I used to spend weekends stoning dance costumes with Swarovski crystal stones.  Today, I happened upon a video made by Swarovski that shows the rhinestones on dance costumes.


While this is completely different from the dance competition scene, use your imagination to see how a simple costume can be transformed into an extraordinary costume using the finest Swarovski Crystal components for amazing, sparkling stage presence in a highly charged environment of dancers!

Swarovski Perfume Aura Video

Swarovski and Clarins entered into a licensing agreement in 2008, and Swarovski Aura is the first scent to launch. I recently found a publicity video for Swarovski Aura on YouTube:

The Swarovski Aura bottles are made of glass and metal, topped with a single faceted asymmetrical Swarovski crystal.  The Swarovski Aura perfume inside the glass bottle is pink in color.  It appears that the bottle will be available in 2 different sizes with refill bottles of the perfume available.

It is reported that Swarovski Aura should be available in some 500 Swarovski stores when the perfume is fully launched at all channels.

In 2006, Swarovski and Clarins previously worked together commemorating fragrance Angel’s 15th anniversary.
The crystal brand company has created other limited edition Swarovski perfume bottles in the past.
  • Swarovski Tresor in 1994, 1995-96, and 1997, limited edition of 5,000 or 10,000.
  • Swarovski Yves St Laurent in 1996 and 1998, limited edition of less than 6300 issues.
  • Swarovski Jewel Perfume in 1997, limited edition of 10,000.
  • Swarovski Roma in 1997 with limited distribution in the European community.
  • Swarovski Madame Gres (three different bottles) in 2003, limited edition of 5,000 (per bottle) .

Swarovski Crystal Myriad Collection (NLE) Video on YouTube

I recently found a Swarovski video that features issues from the Swarovski Crystal Myriad Collection on YouTube.

It features the four Swarovski Crystal Myriad sculptures from 2010:

The Swarovski Crystal Myriad objects of art are all Swarovski NLE (Swarovski Numbered Limited Editions).  Each Crystal Myriad has a maximum production of 300 units.  Depending on the item, the Crystal Myriad figurine has 32,000 – 63,000 hand-set crystals.  In general, the more the crystals and hours to create, the higher the purchase price.  The price range of the Crystal Myriad figurines is $12,000 – $18,000.  WOW!  I think they should come to life for that pretty penny!  (or at a minimum that I can drive it somewhere)

I am a confused about the availability of the Swarovski Crystal Myriad collection.  At one place on Swarovski’s web site, it states that the Swarovski Jinlong and Swarovski Amurath are sold out.  However, it you go directly to the item on the site, it is still possible to add both of them to your shopping cart.  From previous experience, if an item is not available on the Swarovski site, I’d see a button that indicates ‘go to the boutique finder’ vs add to cart.

Swarovski Nirvana Ring Video featuring Swarovski Crystal Rings

I found a new Swarovski Crystal Video a few days ago.  It is a video with LOTS of Swarovski Nirvana rings falling, falling, until they bounce off a shiny black surface.

Below the video, Swarovski asks: What do you get when you set Swarovski’s iconic Nirvana Ring against a backdrop of beautiful melody and blissful visuals? Swarovski answers: Paradise on earth!

In the Swarovski video, I noticed clear Nirvana rings, black Nirvana rings, and blue Nirvana rings.  I started searching out the Swarovski Nirvana rings, and was I ever surprised at all the different colors I found them in:

It appears that the Nirvana rings are available in a lot more colors than I ever realized.  The rings range in price from $170 – $190 depending on the color and source.  Enjoy the video clip! If you are considering to purchase the Nirvana ring, you should have plenty of colors to select from!

Swarovski Cinema Spot Video

This evening I came across a Swarovski video on one of the company websites, http://www.swarovski.tv/.   Excited to have found it, I quickly started watching it.

Straight to the point, I felt the Swarovski video was confusing.  I read on the Swarovski site what the video is supposed to represent, their 115 year heritage, but I simply didn’t get it.

I did find a web site that goes more into depth about the storyline of the video.  Being “artisitically challenged” about the spot, I was pleased to find it broken down into something more understandable at Luxury Daily.

While I did find a number of positive comments on the internet, I still don’t care for the video.  I hope that if Swarovski does more videos, that they are light, bright, sparkly, happy, and that the plot/theme is more clear.

Swarovski SCS 2011 Siku & Polar Bear Cubs Annual Edition Video

This morning I found the Swarovski Crystal SCS Polar Bear Video on the Swarovski web site, it appears to be unavailable now.

The Swarovski 2011 Annual Edition SCS Polar Bear Siku and Polar Bear Cubs were designed by Anton Hirzinger.  The video on the Swarovski web site is awesome.  It opens with a beautiful view of the Artic region where polar bears live. As a polar bear stroll by in the snow in the tundra, his breath is visible and revels the frigid temperature in the air.  The video continues emphasizing the SCS Annual Edition Siku, the companion SCS Polar Bear cubs, and the Swarovski designer doing some sketching.

Also highlighted in the video are the SCS accessories for this year 2011:  SCS Arctic Flower Pendant, the SCS Artic Flower Ornament (which is the member gift), and the SCS Ballpoint Pen.  (The SCS Arctic Pierced Earrings were not shown in the video.)

For 2011, the SCS title plaque for the Polar Bear Siku is included in the box.  A pair Swarovski gloves, a helpful accessory for the crystal figurine, is also integrated with the purchase.  As always, there is an official Swarovski Certificate for the Annual Edition crystal figurine.

I’m looking forward to the arrival of the Swarovski SCS Siku and Polar Bear Cubs into my Swarovski collection!

Swarovski SCS 2010 Annual Edition Tiger

2011 will arrive within minutes.  “Endangered Wildlife”, the final Swarovski SCS Club trilogy, will be concluded as we Swarovski crystal fanatics anxiously await the arrival of Swarovski 2011 SCS Polar Bear Siku to our displays.

The Swarovski 2010 Annual Edition was the Tiger.  The Swarovski Tiger retailed for $450.   Swarovski also offered separate tiger cubs to its Swarovski SCS members.  The Swarovski Standing Tiger Cub retailed for $180. The Swarovski Sitting Tiger Cub also retailed for $180.

The Swarovski 2010 Annual Edition Tiger, Standing Tiger Cub, and Sitting Tiger Cub were designed by Elisabeth Adamer.  The Swarovski video on youtube briefly shows the Swarovski designer and how she began he journey into the development of this Swarovski figurine for the Swarovski Crystal Society members.

Since I like felines, both domestic and wild, I’m delighted with the design and that I have the 2010 SCS Tiger in my Swarovski crystal collection.

Swarovski SCS 2008 Annual Edition Pandas

The Swarovski trilogy, “Endangered Wildlife”, is the final trilogy for Swarovski crystal SCS members.  With 2011 literally right around the corner, I thought this was a good time to celebrate the last series made and make ways for the new Swarovski SCS Polar Bear Siku.

The 2008 Annual Edition was the Swarovski Pandas.  The SCS Pandas were packaged with a mother and young cub.  Swarovski also offered a separate cub to its Swarovski SCS members.  The panda pair retailed for $450.  The separate panda cub retailed for $180.

Now, two years later, it does seem that this Swarovski crystal annual edition is selling for prices higher than original retail.  For transactions completed in December, 2010, the Swarovski Pandas are closing at prices from $650 – $800.  The Swarovski Panda cub transactions are completing in the price range of $225 – $275.  This is good news for Swarovski crystal fanatics who may have purchased duplicate sets of these crystal figurines.

The Swarovski SCS 2008 Annual Edition Pandas and Panda cub were designed by Heinz Tabertshofer.  Swarovski created a video, where I found it on youtube, that shows the Swarovski designer and how he was inspired by pandas in action.

Crystal Exchange America frequently has listings for the 2008 SCS Swarovski Pandas.

The Swarovski SCS Pandas from 2008 are annual editions that I am happy to have in my Swarovski crystal collection.
