Swarovski Crystal Limited Online Edition Lime Panther Officially Released!

Exclusively available from April 14, 2012 onward, Swarovski is proud to present the Limited Online Edition Lime Panther.  This eclectic, eye-catching crystal sculpture is limited to 888 pieces which are only available from the Swarovski online shop.  The Limited Online Edition Lime Panther is the third in a series of online exclusive panthers. Balanced and impressive, the sculpture captures a graceful poise and seduces with its exceptional color in perfectly faceted crystal. The Black Spot granite base sets a nice contrast and further underlines the strength inherent to these famed creatures. Graceful power combined with luxurious materials which better combination could possibly grace your interior?

The Swarovski Lime Panther Online Limited Edition has a retail price of $1100.00 USD.  The system number for the crystal Lime Panther is 1142792.

Other Swarovski Panthers available for purchase from the crystal brand include:

  1. Swarovski Soulmate Panther (clear) – 9600 000 074 / 874 337.  Introduced in 2007 and retired in 2011.
  2. Swarovski Soulmate Limited Online Edition Panther (black) – 9600 000 151 / 1060325. Introduced and sold out in 2010.
  3. Swarovski Soulmate Moroda Panther – (moroda) 1096051.  New release for 2011.
  4. Swarovski Soulmate Limited Online Edition Orange Shine Panther (copper-like) – 1096050. Introduced and sold out in 2011.

The Limited Edition Black Panther (500 units) sold out in under 48 hours according to the Swarovski web site.  The Limited Edition Orange Shine Panther (888 units) took about 3 months to sell out.

The designer for the Swarovski Soulmate Panther figurines is Heinz Tabertshofer.  All the crystal figurines are fully faceted animals attached to black spot granite bases.  The online limited editions (black and orange shine panthers) are engraved in the granite base with a unique # and the words limited online edition.

The Limited Edition Black Panther has been trading at favorable pricing to the seller on the secondary market, with selling prices in the $2900 to $3300 range.  The Limited Edition Orange Shine Panther has been trading prices very close to original retail price: $1200 – $1400.

I’m sure that crystal fanatics wish they had a crystal ball (pardon the pun) to know how this one is going to sell in the future: buy only one for their collection, or buy several in hopes of making a few bucks?  (Reminder….Swarovski indicates on their web site that quantities are limited to 3 per person).  I have purchased mine (just one). One thing for sure: you’ll want place your order now, so that you won’t have to pay secondary market prices to add this Swarovski Limited Edition to your crystal collection later.

Swarovski Crystal Limited Edition Elephant – Cheap, cheap!

Swarovski crystal fanatics will be intrigued to hear about a terrific deal at Crystal Exchange America!  This retired Swarovski dealer has an exceptional offer on the Swarovski NLE Elephant.

Swarovski Limited Edition Elephant

First, some background on this special crystal sculpture figurine.  The Limited Edition Elephant was produced in 2006, with a maximum production of 10,000 units.  The Elephant originally retailed for $3250 during the time it was available from Swarovski.  This Swarovski NLE was designed by Heinz Tabertshofer and is identified with the brand’s product number 9100 000 034 and system number 854 407.  The Elephant has a length of approximately 11″.  It came with a mirrored stand for display, gloves, a certificate with a matching number to the laser-engraved crystal, and is encased in a royal blue locking suitcase.

So, hearing that the Swarovski Limited Edition Elephant was limited to 10,000 pieces, collectors would likely think this is a must have figurine for their collection.  I looked quickly at the online auctions and found none available under $3500, and the most recent completed sale was at $3599 including shipping.  Given the additional information on this Limited Edition Elephant, Swarovski collectors may find it terrific news that Crystal Exchange America has a client willing to sell for $2000 + shipping!  This particular Swarovski Elephant is on site and inspected. The only flaw found is that there is a small chip on the underside of the back left foot, but it cannot be detected when displayed.  If this attractive price on the Swarovski Elephant is enticing enough, and you want to purchase, add this Swarovski Elephant to your cart, then proceed with the checkout process to ensure that you don’t miss out.  After this one has sold, the next lowest price Elephant is over $5100, more than $3100 higher.

Swarovski Longwang Dragon – the Newest Crystal Myriad

Swarovski has just uploaded a video to YouTube showing the Crystal Myriad Longwang Dragon. (Dragon video link later changed when Swarovski’s video was made ‘private’)

The Swarovski Longwang Dragon is the fifth Swarovski Crystal Myriad produced by the famous crystal brand.  Longwang is among many Swarovski dragon figurines being released near 2012, the Chinese Year of the Dragon.

The Swarovski Longwang Dragon is a limited edition masterpiece with a maximum production of 888, collectors might think that the dragon would be a quick sell-out.  However, as retail price tag of $20,000, that could delay a sell-out.  I checked the official Swarovski site for more information about the dragon, and it cannot be added to the shopping cart.  Might this Swarovski Numbered Limited Edition be sold out?  Or simply temporarily unavailable???

Swarovski Stitch Experiment 626 Limited Online Edition

Less than a week ago, I wrote about Swarovski Stitch figurines sold at the crystal brand’s website.  At that time, there were two variations available:  the Limited Edition Swarovski Stitch and the Swarovski Stitch Experiment 626 Limited Edition.  Both Swarovski Disney Stitch crystal figurines retail for $325, but the Experiment 626 was slightly different and has a maximum production of 626 units.

Swarovski Stitch Experiment 626

As of yesterday, and still occurring today, the Experiment 626 Stitch appears to be available on the Swarovski web site, but errors occur when trying to add the item to the cart and checking out.  Might this be an indication that quantity remaining is extremely low or that it might be sold out?  I cannot confirm either scenario, just that at the moment, it is NOT possible to purchase it from the Swarovski web site, the ONLY place that it was originally sold.

Since the not as limited Swarovski Stitch is available, and should be available for most of 2012, Swarovski crystal collectors who like the Disney Movie Lilo and Stitch may decide to purchase this variation as it can be easily obtained for $325.

If you are among the serious collecting audience of Swarovski crystal fanatics, you may insist on the more limited edition of Swarovski Disney Stitch Experiment 626.  While availability at Swarovski.com is questionable at the moment, I did find one on ebay for nearly $800 + shipping!

I would also expect that we’ll get new listings for the Swarovski Stitch figurine and that they may posted on the CrystalExchange.com website.  It is not unusual for our clients to snatch up exclusive pieces then put them on our website hoping for a quick profit.

Swarovski Stitch will be in the Swarovski Disney category at the Crystal Exchange America web site.  Or if you choose to go directly to the site, look in the Disney and Arribas category.

Swarovski Lucky Mo, Lovlots 2012 Crystal Figurine

I’m starting to see the 2012 Swarovski releases on the web.  There are a number pictures appearing at authorized retailer websites in North America and in Europe, so the release must be just around the corner.

Swarovski Lovlots Lucky Mo

The Swarovski Lucky Mo (green cow) looks like a fun crystal figurine.  Lovlots Lucky Mo is a light green Mo figurine decorated with 2-color 4 leaf clovers, green hearts, and a tiny red ladybug on the hind end!  Descriptions indicate that this is a Swarovski Lovlots limited edition available in 2012, much like Swarovski Sunshine Mo or Swarovski Santa Mo are/were available in 2011.  The height of Lucky Mo is 1.75″ and retail price is $65.  The Swarovski identification # for Lucky Mo is 1096750.  I’m wondering if it is the same light green shade as Swarovski Flower Mo, or if there is a different variation of green.  Swarovski Flower Mo is decorated with flowers vs the lucky clovers on the newest cow mo.

The crystal giant has produced a number of other (mostly limited edition) Swarovski Mo figurines, dating back to 2006.

  • Swarovski Missy Mo,  2006 – current
  • Swarovski Missy Mo (Large) , 2006 – 2009
  • Swarovski Pinky Mo, Limited Edition 2007
  • Swarovski Soccer Mo, Limited Edition 2008
  • Swarovski Flower Mo, Limited Edition 2009
  • Swarovski Halloween Mo, Limited Edition 2009
  • Swarovski Country Mos, Limited Edition 2010
  • Swarovski Glamour Mos, Limited Edition 2010
  • Swarovski Belle Mo, 2010 – current
  • Swarovski Charming Mo, Limited Edition 2011
  • Swarovski Swarovski Sunshine Mo, Limited Edition 2011
  • Swarovski Santa Mo, Limited Edition 2011

One of the Swarovski stores taking pre-orders is Crystal Classics in Columbus, Ohio, but there are a number of them on the internet.  The Swarovski Lucky Mo green cow appears to be a real cutie.  It would make a great gift for St Patricks Day or even a cute 4-H award.  So you go girl….Lucky Mo, go join your Swarovski crystal sisters in the Lovlots pastures!

Swarovski News: Swarovski Orange Shine Panther, NLE of 888, Sold Out!

Today, we received the official Swarovski news that the Swarovski Orange Shine Panther is now SOLD OUT!  The Orange Shine Panther publicly launched August 29, 2011.  This Swarovski Panther was a limited edition figurine (Swarovski NLE) of 888 units.  The orange wild cat, in a typical cat pose, retailed for $1110.

Despite it being another limited edition panther, I expected a quick sell out, like the Swarovski  Black Panther.  The Swarovski Limited Edition Black Panther (Swarovski NLE) was limited to 500 units and retailed for $960 when it was briefly available at the online Swarovski shoppe in April, 2010.

The Orange Shine Panther and Black Panther are among Swarovski crystal feline friends, .Swarovski also produced a clear Panther figurine, that retired in 2011 and a moroda Panther figurine which is presently available in the Swarovski shoppe. The Kristall Buzz has featured a number of articles about Swarovski Panthers:

  • Swarovski Soulmate Orange Panther Arrived
  • Swarovski Black Panther vs Swarovski Moroda Panther
  • Swarovski Soulmates Panther Competition

I’m wondering what the crystal brand is thinking.

  • Is another colored, limited edition Swarovski panther figurine in the works?
  • Does the extended time available indicate that Swarovski collectors did not like the orange-shine color?
  • Does the extended time available imply that Swarovski collectors might not be interested to purchase another limited edition panther in a different color?

Now, if feline fanatics want to purchase the Swarovski Orange Panther, they will have to turn to the secondary market or online auctions.  At Crystal Exchange America, the Black Panther and Orange Shine Panther, as well as other Swarovski NLE figurines, can be found in the Limited Edition Swarovski category of the store.  Or collectors can use the powerful store search feature, keyword panther to restrict the search results to Swarovski panthers.

Swarovski Mask….Limited Edition Crystal Masks

Halloween is just around the corner.  Parties on the weekends with people decked out in their best costumes.  And yet one more chance to enjoy the fun or scary atmosphere on beggars night too!

Nearly every year, we get orders for a Swarovski Mask that some Swarovski fanatic is planning to wear to a party!

Our favorite crystal brand produced four different masks all release in their Jeweler’s Collection line.  All the masks can indeed be worn, but some are on the more fragile side and I would suggest using caution if wearing these Swarovski Limited Edition releases.

Swarovski 1999 Mask

The first mask came out in 1999.  It was a limited edition of 2000 units.  While the mask itself was not numbered, the certificate included with it was numbered.  The Swarovski identification # for the 1999 Swarovski mask is 3391.69SN.  The crystal stones for this mask were hand set and are bonded into the mask frame.  The satin-like Swarovski box is burgundy in color.  The Swarovski 1999 Mask retailed for $350 and sells in the $450 – $500 price range on the secondary market.

Swarovski 2000 Mask

The second mask came out in 2000.  It was a limited edition of 3000 units.  While the mask itself was not numbered, the certificate included with it was numbered.  This mask has a detachable handle so that the mask is hand-held, not actually worn.  The Swarovski identification # for the 2000 Swarovski mask is 1508853 / 1508982.  The satin-like Swarovski box is grey in color.  The Swarovski 2000 Mask retailed for $375 and sells in the $450 – $500 price range on the secondary market.

Swarovski 2001 Mask

The third mask came out in 2001.  It was a limited edition of 3000 units.  While the mask itself was not numbered, the certificate included with it was numbered.  The Swarovski identification # for the 2001 Swarovski mask is 1806193.   Clear crystal stones and yellow crystal stones were used for this mask. The satin-like Swarovski box is iridescent lavender in color.  The Swarovski 2001 Mask retailed for $395 and sells in the $475 – $525 price range on the secondary market.

Swarovski 2002 Mask

The final mask came out in 2002.  It was a limited edition of 2500 units.  While the butterfly mask itself was not numbered, the certificate included with it was numbered.  The Swarovski identification # for the 2000 Swarovski Butterfly mask is 1600317.  The satin-like Swarovski box is blue in color.  The Swarovski 2002 Mask retailed for $375 and sells in the $500 – $550 price range on the secondary market.

Whether you attend a party as your favorite celebrity, or a professional athlete, or any other costume, you can always bling it up with some Swarovski Elements or conceal your identity with a Swarovski mask.  Even if you just want to walk around with your kids on Beggar’s night, with a little spunk, you can wear a Swarovski Crystal Mask.   Most importantly, have a safe and fun Halloween event.

Swarovski Sapphire Steiff Bear, 2011 Limited Edition, at Crystal Exchange America

With only 2000 available in 2011, the Steiff Sapphire Bear not going to be available for very long.  Steiff retailers told us that the limited edition Swarovski-decorated bear was quick to sell out this year.

The bear’s coat is a deep blue made of silk material. The bear has paws encrusted with Swarovski crystal Elements stones that reflect a prism of colors accenting the sapphire blue color.

Sapphire also wears a choker around her neck made Swarovski Elements.  Naturally, the bear includes a white label with the famous Steiff button in the ear.  Every Steiff Sapphire bear includes a numbered certificate of authenticity and is packaged in a special Steiff gift box.

A number of other Steiff Swarovski bears have been produced in the past decade.  In particular, Swarovski Ornaments were used in the implementation of these  Swarovski Steiff bears:

Swarovski CrystalograM Collection: “The Five by Weidinger”

Some little-known pictures produced by our favorite crystal brand are the Swarovski CrystalograM creations.   Briefly, a CrystalograM is a work of art by Hubert Weidinger with Swarovski crystal stones hand-set into the work which extends from a canvas across the frame to create an extremely unique portrait.

Swarovski CrystalograMs by Hubert Weidinger

Hubert Weidinger is a Swarovski artist who created five CrystalograMs, hence ‘The Five by Weidinger’. The Swarovski CrystalograM pictures each have a theme and primary color:

  1. Swarovski Fire CrystalograM red
  2. Swarovski Nature CrystalograM   green
  3. Swarovski Earth CrystalograM</a orange
  4. Swarovski Air CrystalograM violet
  5. Swarovski Water CrystalograM blue

The five Swarovski CrystalograM pictures were available in two different sizes, both which were Swarovski limited editions.  The smaller size was 12″ square and was limited to 4,999 units.  The larger size was 24.5

‘ square and was limited to 99 units.  The 12 CrystalograM was decorated with about 400 crystal stones retailed for approximately $350.  The 24.5″ CrystalograM was decorated with about 1200 faceted crystal stones and retailed for $5000.

All the Swarovski CrystalograMs were officially available from 1993 through 1997, however some of them may have sold out prior to that due to the limited quantity available.

While a few other CrystalograM designs have been documented, they were likely commissioned for special clients.

Swarovski CrystalograM pictures are very difficult to find.  At Crystal Exchange America, only a few have ever been listed and sold, and that was nearly a decade ago when the economy was much stronger.  During that timeframe, the smaller ones sold in the price range of $650 – $900 each.  The larger ones sold in the price range of $3000 – $3200.  If were more to be listed in our online store at www.CrystalExchange.com , the Swarovski CrystalograMs would appear in the category ‘Limited Edition Swarovski’.

Swarovski Soulmate Orange Panther – Crystal Limited Online Edition Arrived!

The Swarovski Orange Shine Online Limited Edition launched online about 10 days ago for purchase.  I quickly placed my order, not wanting to pay higher prices once it sold out.  I was quite excited for it to arrive only 5 days after I got my order placed.  I  didn’t really know what to expect in an orange shine colored panther.  I was thrilled once I was able to see it in person. I really like it!

Swarovski Limited Edition Soulmates Orange Panther

Now, the Swarovski Orange Panther is appearing everywhere for sale.  There are at least five of them on eBay, and collectors are listing them with our service at Crystal Exchange America.  Naturally, collectors are hoping to sell them for a profit, as the advertised prices are $1800 and up everywhere outside of the Swarovski shoppe.

Honestly, I did think this Swarovski crystal panther would be sold out in just a few days.  The panther was a well-liked design.  The maximum production is low (888 units), and the price point is affordable.  I thought this would be a winning combination for Swarovski crystal collectors. My thoughts now are that perhaps collectors are thinking three panthers are ENOUGH.  Or perhaps, collectors are still a bit nervous about an orange panther.

In any case, we urge collectors to double-check with the Swarovski site before making a decision to purchase elsewhere.  Some eBay sellers are reporting that it is sold out, when in fact, it is not.  If there is a particular sequence number that is a must have, then the seller has the upper hand on pricing.  If not, buy it where is it priced the lowest.

The designer for the Swarovski Soulmate Panther figurines is Heinz Tabertshofer. All the crystal figurines are fully faceted animals attached to black spot granite bases.  The limited editions are engraved in the granite base with a unique # and the words limited online edition.  Swarovski Panthers have been sold in the following colors: clear, black, moroda, and orange.

The Limited Edition Black Panther is trading at seller-prodfitable prices on the secondary market, in the $3000 to $3500 range.  If this is any long-term indicator of success for the Swarovski Limited Edition Orange Shine Panther, you’ll want place your order now, so that you won’t have to pay secondary market prices to add it to your Swarovski crystal collection.  Should this occur before you get the Panther added to your collection, check out the the “Limited Edition Swarovski” category of our store at www.CrystalExchange.com .
