Swarovski Sunshine Mo Cow is Mooving to the West End

I just returned home from the Sunshine state after having a nice family vacation.  Wouldn’t you know, I see the announcement for the new Swarovski Sunshine Mo.

The crystal brand states that the Swarovski Lovlots figurine, Sunshine Mo, will be a limited edition figurine available only online.  The launch date is scheduled for May 30.  It will be available in 23 countries, and I’m glad that USA is one of them this Swarovski cow looks mighty cute. With the flower necklace, she could have been “Hula Mo”!

Swarovski Sunshine Mo will be joining her Swarovski Lovlots cow sisters Swarovski Pinky Mo (Swarovski LE 2007), Swarovski Soccer Mo (Swarovski LE 2008), Swarovski Flower Mo (Swarovski LE 2009), Swarovski Halloween Mo (Swarovski LE 2009), Swarovski Country Mos (Swarovski LE 2010), Swarovski Glamour Mos (Swarovski LE 2010), and Swarovski Charming Mo (Swarovski LE 2011). Swarovski also makes Missy Mo (introduced 2006) and Belle Mo (introduced 2010), but these Swarovski cows are not limited editions.

For more information on the Swarovski Limited Edition Mos, check out the Swarovski Flower Mo article on the Kristall Buzz.

Crystal Exchange America has all the Swarovski Limited Edition Mo crystal figurines on their web site. So if you fall in love with the new Swarovski Sunshine Mo, be sure and check out prior limited edition mos to see if they too are ‘must have’ crystal figurines for your collection!

Swarovski Lovlots Circus Crystal Figurines online now

Swarovski fanatics are excited to know that the Swarovski Lovlots Circus figures launched today!  The eight new Swarovski Lovlots can now be purchased at the Swarovski web site.

The following crystal figurines are in the initial launch of the Swarovski Lovlots Circus:

  • Swarovski Jade, limited edition for 2011 – dancing horse.  MSRP $80
  • Swarovski Benny – bunny.  MSRP $55
  • Swarovski Jasmine – dancing horse.  MSRP $245
  • Swarovski Leo– lion.  MSRP $225
  • Swarovski Rolly – monkey.  MSRP $55
  • Swarovski Rosalie – dancing horse.  MSRP $80
  • Swarovski Toby – elephant.  MSRP $110
  • Swarovski Tony – elephant.  MSRP $325

As to be expected from a circus atmosphere, the coloring of the Swarovski Circus Lovlots is exhilarating.  These figurines use new colors that I have not previously seen in Swarovski figurines.  Of course I am saying this based on the product descriptions and pictures on the Swarovski site (since I cannot possible have them in my hands yet).

The Swarovski Lovlots Circus is the 4th series of delightful Lovlots figurines.  The other Swarovski Lovlots series include: Swarovski City Park (launched in 2010), Swarovski House of Cats (launched in 2009), and Swarovski Gang of Dogs (launched in 2008).  Another “unofficial series” are the Lovlots Pioneers (launched in 2006) which are initial group of Lovlots figurines.

If your Swarovski collection is missing a retired Swarovski Lovlots crystal figurine, Crystal Exchange America has a variety on their web site. They have figurines from all four series in addition to the special limited edition Lovlots.

Swarovski Golden Shadow Hare Rabbit Coming Soon

It appears that Swarovski has another Hare / Rabbit / Bunny soon to be released.  This Swarovski Hare is made of Crystal Golden Shadow with jet crystal eyes.  I believe it is the same design as the upcoming Swarovski Limited Edition Hare, but in a different color.

The Swarovski Hare (golden shadow) is about 1.5″ in length and will retail for $60 US.  I found stores accepting pre-orders for this item, and it seems that they should be available near the end of March, which is just before the Swarovski Limited Edition Hare is to launch.

Swarovski Hare in Crystal Golden Shadow

There are a number of retired Swarovski hare / bunny / rabbit designs if you collect the Swarovski crystal bunny figurines:

  • Swarovski Bunny Rabbit – 7678 000 001 / 208 326
  • Swarovski Rabbit, Large (US & Canada only) – 7652 045 000 / 013 725
  • Swarovski Rabbit, Mini – 7652 020 000 / 010 012

Swarovski Perfume Aura Video

Swarovski and Clarins entered into a licensing agreement in 2008, and Swarovski Aura is the first scent to launch. I recently found a publicity video for Swarovski Aura on YouTube:

The Swarovski Aura bottles are made of glass and metal, topped with a single faceted asymmetrical Swarovski crystal.  The Swarovski Aura perfume inside the glass bottle is pink in color.  It appears that the bottle will be available in 2 different sizes with refill bottles of the perfume available.

It is reported that Swarovski Aura should be available in some 500 Swarovski stores when the perfume is fully launched at all channels.

In 2006, Swarovski and Clarins previously worked together commemorating fragrance Angel’s 15th anniversary.
The crystal brand company has created other limited edition Swarovski perfume bottles in the past.
  • Swarovski Tresor in 1994, 1995-96, and 1997, limited edition of 5,000 or 10,000.
  • Swarovski Yves St Laurent in 1996 and 1998, limited edition of less than 6300 issues.
  • Swarovski Jewel Perfume in 1997, limited edition of 10,000.
  • Swarovski Roma in 1997 with limited distribution in the European community.
  • Swarovski Madame Gres (three different bottles) in 2003, limited edition of 5,000 (per bottle) .

If you are a Swarovski collector who enjoys Swarovski Perfume bottles, Crystal Exchange America does have some of them available.

Swarovski Limited Edition Hare (Rabbit) soon at Swarovski Shop

Swarovski has made its official announcement to SCS members about the Swarovski Limited Edition Hare.  The company informs its Swarovski Club members that the limited edition hare will be available in the Swarovski Online shop only (this means not at store retailers or boutiques).  The planned launch date is April 11, 2011.

The Swarovski Limited Edition Hare appears to be made of smokey quartz (gray) crystal.  Swarovski does not mention size, price, or quantity produced in its online announcement.  They do mention that the Swarovski limited edition hare is a global release, so I take it that there are no exclusions as to who can purchase it (sometimes online-only releases are limited to specific countries).

There are other Swarovski hare / rabbit figurines in the Swarovski shop if you are a bunny collector:
  • Swarovski Rabbit (Chinese Zodiac)
  • Swarovski Sitting Rabbit
  • Swarovski Lying Rabbit
  • Swarovski Thumper (from Bambi)
  • Swarovski Bella (Lovlots Rabbit)

If you are looking for Retired Swarovski Rabbit figurines, many can be found at the Crystal Exchange America web site. I believe that all the retired Swarovski crystal rabbits are clear crystal figurines.

Swarovski Bald Eagle NLE 2011 for SCS

Swarovski stores are actively contacting their SCS customers about placing an order for the Swarvoski NLE  2011 – the Swarovski Bald Eagle.

Swarovski Limited Edition Bald Eagle – SCS NLE for 2011

A store in Ohio has added the Swarovski Bald Eagle to their web site Limited Edition Bald Eagle.

This video on the Swarovski Bald Eagle is on YouTube:

>

From what we have heard, an SCS member may purchase more than one Swarovski Bald Eagle.  We’ve also heard that about 1/3 of the 10,000 Bald Eagles are allocated to SCS members in the USA.  Coming from our customers, a number of Swarovski members have already declined to purchase as they prefer a clear crystal limited edition figurine.

The Swarovski Bald Eagle is the seventh Swarovski Numbered Limited Edition (of 10,000) issued by Swarovski since 1995.  Other Swarovski NLE include:

  • Swarovski NLE Eagle – 1995
  • Swarovski NLE Peacock – 1998
  • Swarovski NLE Wild Horses – 2001
  • Swarovski NLE Elephant – 2004
  • Swarovski NLE Bull – 2006
  • Swarovski NLE Rhinoceros – 2008
So, if you are highly interested to add the Swarovski Crystal Bald Eagle to your collection, you may wish to contact your favorite retailer real soon, ready with your SCS valid membership number, so that your order can be placed for the crystal figurine.  As Swarovski has done in the past with other NLE, after a short period of time, the Swarovski Bald Eagles will be offered online to non-SCS members.

Swarovski Crystal Paradise – 2011 Releases

Swarovski fanatics will be excited about the upcoming release of the new colorful Swarovski Paradise figurines.

In 2000, Swarovski launched the first Paradise figurines. They were insects:  Swarovski Paradise Bees / Bumblebees, Swarovski Paradise Beetles, Swarovski Paradise Butterflies, Swarovski Paradise Dragonflies, Swarovski Paradise Flies, Swarovski Paradise Grasshoppers, & Swarovski Paradise Scarabs.  In 2004, Swarovski launched the Paradise ‘Exotic Fish and South Sea’.  In 2006, Swarovski launched the Paradise ‘Exotic Flowers’.In 2011, the theme is one of Underwater Beauty.  Swarovski Paradise figurines in the new collection include:
  • Swarovski Sea Goldies, Topaz
  • Swarovski Pearl Oyster, Vintage Rose
  • Swarovski French Angelfish, Jonquil Moroda
  • Swarovski Emperor Angelfish, Jonquil
From the four items that will be available in March, I like the Swarovski French Angelfish the best.  This new group of Swarovski Paradise figurines reminds me of the Swarovski ‘South Sea’ theme group. There is a slide show with attractive pictures of the new Swarovski Paradise figurines on the official Swarovski web site.

If your Swarovski collection is missing a retired Swarovski Paradise figurine, Crystal Exchange America has a large selection available.

Swarovski Aura Perfume launching in March 2011

Swarovski and Clarins have come together in a combined perfume venture.  Swarovski Aura should be available very soon.  The inspiration was “all the grace and the magnetism of light,” according to Joël Palix, president of Clarins Fragrance Group.  Conceptually, Aura attempts to express the soul of crystal, which is light, says Markus Langes-Swarovski, a member of the Swarovski board and the great-great grandson of the company’s founder, Daniel Swarovski.

The Swarovski Aura bottles are made of glass and metal, topped with asymmetrical Swarovski crystal components attached to the bottle.  The Swarovski Aura perfume inside is pink in color.  It appears that the bottle will be available in 2 different sizes with refill bottles of the perfume available.

Swarovski Aura Perfume Bottle
It is reported that there will be a Swarovski Aura launching event in Selfridges on March 3, 2011.  From what I could tell, Selfridges is a (department) store in the UK.  At the event, Swarovski will also unveil some pendants with makeup hidden inside them (lip gloss and balm).  Long term, it is reported that Swarovski Aura should be available in some 500 Swarovski stores.
Swarovski and Clarins worked together in 2006 when the limited edition Angel Perfume bottle was developed commemorating fragrance Angel’s 15th anniversary.

The crystal brand company has created other Swarovski perfume bottles in the past.  There was Swarovski Tresor in 1994, 1995-96, and 1997.  Each container was a limited edition Swarovski bottle (5,000 or 10,000 depending on the bottle).  There was Swarovski Yves St Laurent in 1996 and 1998.  Each container was a limited edition Swarovski bottle of less than 6300 issues.  In 1997, there was a Swarovski Jewel Perfume bottle, limited edition of 10,000.  There was a Swarovski Roma bottle in 1997 with limited distribution in the European community.  There were three different Swarovski Madame Gres bottles in 2003, each bottle being a limited edition of 5,000 bottles.  If you are a Swarovski collector who enjoys Swarovski Perfume containers, Crystal Exchange America does have them available.

Swarovski SCS Siku Arctic Polar Bear Framed Print

I have learned about another ‘gift with purchase’ item available to Swarovski SCS club members: a Siku Polar Bear print.

Swarovski SCS Siku Polar Bear Picture

This polar bear picture is 7.5″ wide x 5.5″ high, including the lavender matte frame.  The picture is a hand-drawn polar bear.  It features a facsimile signature of Anton Hirzinger, the Swarovski designer credited with the creation of the 2011 SCS Siku.  The Swarovski system # for the Siku print is 1271720.

Swarovski club members who purchase a Swarovski figurine in early 2011 may receive the SCS Siku print.  It is my understanding that some retailers offer the Siku print as a gift with purchase, while others have the SCS Arctic Flower jewelry purse.  So, if you are specifically wanting the Siku polar bear print or the SCS Arctic Flower purse, be sure to check with the retailer to ensure that the free gift is the one you want for your collection.
