Swarovski Lovlots Emotis are Coming Soon!

I recently found a Swarovski press release online, that announces the newest Lovlots, the Swarovski Bo Bears and the Swarovski Emotis.

According to the news release, Lovlots Emotis spread vibrant feelings through the air.  There will be six of them when the Swarovski Emotis launch from the crystal brand’s web site.  They are:

Swarovski Lovlots Emotis
  • Swarovski Emoti Anger – This Lovlots Emoti Anger appears to be red with rage and steam rising from his brain, just as if he’s blown his top.
  • Swarovski Emoti Curiosity – This Lovlots Emoti Curiosity obviously questions everything in the world…with one ear even shaped like a question mark.
  • Swarovski Emoti Desire – This Lovlots Emoti Desire is burning with desire, with red flames shooting up from his hair.
  • Swarovski Emoti Energy – This Lovlots Emoti Energy is being stricken by a lightening bolt, with a cloud hovering just above the eyes.
  • Swarovski Emoti Hope – This Lovlots Emoti Hope has a four-colored rainbow spouting from the head.
  • Swarovski Emoti Love – This Lovlots Emoti Love is pink, and resembles a pig to me.  Its heart appears to be pounding with love.

These figurines, like the Swarovski Lovlots Bo Bears, will have other non-crystal components on them as well.  Swarovski will combine faceted crystal with plastic, metal and epoxy for a more modern appeal.

The Lovlots Emotis will not actually reside IN the Lovlots City, but rather in the clouds above them, hovering above the earth.  Swarovski indicates that the Emotis community is invisible to the earth-bound characters, and cast spells on them.  Such spells may cause Lovlots characters to become smitten, frustrated, or energized.

The Swarovski news release did not provide details on a launch date, but I would expect it to be soon since the Bo Bears (in the same release) will be available in just a few weeks.

Swarovski crystal fanatics may view a complete list of Swarovski Lovlots releases, 2006 through 2012 at the Crystal Exchange America web site..

I don’t really get these Lovlots Emoti figurines.  I know that in the past, when the crystal giant produced people-figures, the figurines did not go over all that well with Swarovski collectors.  Specifically, I’m referring to the Masquerade trilogy: Swarovski Pierrot (1999), Swarovski Columbine (2000), and Swarovski Harlequin (2001).  And also the Magic of Dance trilogy: Swarovski Isadora (2002), Swarovski Antonio (2003), and Swarovski Anna (2004).  It will be interesting to see how these new Lovlots are received by traditional crystal collectors and newer collectors too.

Swarovski Lovlots Bo Bears – Contemporary Swarovski Teddy Bears

Early last week, I shared information I found in a Swarovski announcement about their newest members of the Lovlots assortment….Swarovski Bo Bears.  Today, I have more information about the Lovlots Bo Bears!

The official news from the crystal brand’s own web sites indicate that they will reside on the Lovlots Campus.  The Bo Bears are a contemporary interpretation of the popular teddy bear.

Swarovski Bo Bears

From my research, all the Swarovski teddy bears appear to be about 2″ tall, and will retail in the $125 to $175 price range.  Left to right in the Bo Bears Campus image are…

  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Brilliant.  So Brilliant Bo Bear will have 70 crystals set in the Pointiage® technique.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Heavy Metal.  Heavy Metal Bo Bear sounds like it may be a punk rocker, or perhaps the goth one in the group with his dark, skull attire.  This one surely reminds me of the Soulmates Skull released in August, 2011!
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Sweet.  So Sweet Bo Bear is the ideal Valentine gift, a great way to say I love you.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Naughty But Nice.  Naughty But Nice Bo Bear will be the one to watch.  It will be appearing as both an angel and a devilish figurine.

Swarovski crystal fanatics can find out all the past and new Swarovski Lovlots releases, 2006 through present.

The Lovlots Bo Bears are scheduled for release in their online shoppe July 9.   Bo Bear Jewelry, Charms, and Accessories are set for release the following week July 16.

Crystal collectors who enjoy the teddy bear crystal figurines can find hundreds of retired Swarovski Bear crystal figurines at Crystal Exchange America.  Simply look in the Animals category or Lovlots category of their online store.

Swarovski News: Swarovski Magic Mo Appearing in 2012!

Swarovski has announce to its SCS members that another Lovlots crystal cow is just weeks away from launching….Swarovski Magic Mo!

Swarovski Lovlots Magic Mo

Swarovski Magic Mo is dressed as a wizard for the Halloween holiday.  This purple Lovlots cow is decorated with yellow stars and yellow moons.  Magic Mo has her own special accessory…an orange jack-o-lantern.  Magic Mo and her sidekick pumpkin are both wearing matching pointed black hats.

Magic Mo is an online limited edition.  The Swarovski sneak preview indicates that she will be available for purchase in late August of 2012′ but there is no mention of price.  I am thinking that the price point will be higher than the swarovski bubble mo (which is $55) because of the added pumpkin.

It seems a bit surprising the the crystal giant is releasing so many online limited edition Lovlots mo cows…apparently they must be big hits to do 2 or 3 each year. The first one in 2012 was the Swarovski Bubble Mo, which launched at the end of May.  Then the Swarovski Angel Mo, which will launch in July.

So give the Swarovski Lovlots Magic Mo a mystical, warm welcome to the Lovlots crystal cow herd!

Swarovski collectors wanting to know more about the Swarovski Lovlots and other limited edition Lovlots can read more at the Crystal Exchange America web site!

Swarovski News: Swarovski Angel Mo Joining the Lovlots Herd

Our favorite crystal brand is blessing us with yet another Swarovski Lovlots cow….the Swarovski Angel Mo.

Swarovski Angel Mo, soon to be a part of the Lovlots Cow Herd
Swarovski Lovlots Angel Mo

The Lovlots Angel Mo cow is golden-colored, accented with bronze stars.  Being Angel Mo, she naturally has shimmering wings too.

This limited edition angelic cow will certainly remind Swarovski Santa Mo and the rest of the Swarovski Mo herd of the true meaning of Christmas.

Swarovski did not share the MSRP of Angel Mo in its article for the SCS members.  As the Lovlots mo cows have generally been around $55, I think this may be a reasonable estimate for the upcoming Christmas Lovlots addition.  Since the Angel Mo crystal figurine is available online, collectors will not likely find it at a discount price.  Buyers who want to save money should look for the email vouchers that the crystal brand sends out, and hope there are no exclusions for limited edition figurines.

Swarovski crystal collectors will be able to purchase the Swarovski Angel Mo from the online shoppe in early July.  This online limited edition crystal figurine will not be available in stores, so look for an email notice when she is officially available.

Crystal Exchange America has a large selection of retired limited online edition Mos prior to the 2012 releases for collectors seeking those discontinued Mos.  At their website, to find Swarovski Lovlots, navigate downward in the menu on the left side of the screen to the Lovlots and Zodiac category.

Swarovski Bo Bear Figurines Advance into the Lovlots City

Make room for more wildlife in the Lovlots City!  The crystal giant shares information about the initial sleuth of bears in its Swarovski Bo Bear launch:

  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Heavy Metal.  This Lovlots Bo Bear sounds like he may be a punk rocker, or perhaps the goth one in the group with his dark, skull attire.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – Naughty But Nice. This Lovlots Bo Bear will be the one to watch.  He’ll be appearing as both an angel and a devilish figurine.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Brilliant.  This Lovlots Bo Bear will have 70 crystals set in the Pointiage® technique.
  • Swarovski Bo Bear – So Sweet.  Swarovski does not say much about the characteristics of this Lovlots Bo Bear, only that it is a great way to say I love you.  They  leave it to our imagination!

Swarovski did not include any product images with the news.  From the sketch of teddy bears with the announcement, the Bo Bears appear a bit Hello Kitty-like to me with a large head and product cuteness drawing in the consumer collector.

The crystal brand did some product realignment at the beginning of the year, with the end result being that the Swarovski Kris Bears are Lovlots Kris Bears.  Hopefully the Kris Bears will be glad to see the Bo Bears in their Lovlots city turf.

In the Swarovski News announcements to its SCS members, the company reveals that the Swarovski Bo Bears will not be exclusively crystal figurines. They provide a hint that there will be other various materials.  Yet another aspect that Swarovski is leaving for crystal fanatics to figure out.

Swarovski Bo Bear figurines will be available on the online shoppe in early July.  About 1 week later, there will be accessorizing jewelry and charms in the online shoppe.  There is no mention of figurine size or price point.  Perhaps since Swarovski is incorporating ‘other materials’ into the products, these teddy bears may be less expensive?

Crystal collectors who enjoy the teddy bear crystal figurines can find hundreds of retired Swarovski Bear crystal figurines at Crystal Exchange America.  Simply look in the Animals category or Lovlots category of their online store.

Swarovski Bubble Mo, 2012 Limited Edition, Blowing in May 29!

Yesterday, I found an update on the crystal brand’s web site regarding the launch date of the upcoming Limited Edition Swarovski Bubble Mo.  The company has announced to its SCS members that the 2012 Limited Edition Bubble Mo will be available for purchase in the online shoppe May 29.

Swarovski Bubble Mo, Blue Coe
Swarovski Bubble Mo, Lovlots Blue Cow Limited Edition 2012

Swarovski Lovlots Bubble Mo is about 1″ in height.  The company uses these colors in their official product description: Scuba Blue, Air Blue Opal, and Lavender crystal.  Swarovski mentions that the laser engraved bubbles are symbolic of bubbles of joy in the SCS news, and calls them bubbles of excitement in the product description.

Swarovski states in their announcement, that the Swarovski Bubble Mo blue cow figurines will be limited to 10 per person.  But don’t forget, there is only one Swarovski certificate per online order (modification in 2011), so if you desire a certificate for each Limited Edition Bubble Mo (which may not be a bad idea at all!), collectors should purchase one Bubble Mo per order.  Just remember, if you order one crystal figurine per order, additional shipping charges may be applied to the order.

The Swarovski Lovlots Bubble Mo (blue cow) and Swarovski Lovlots Lucky Mo (green cow) are both Limited Editions that are only available in 2012, hence retiring at the end of the year if not sold out prior to that date.  There are about 15 Swarovski Lovlots figurines that are retiring in 2012.  Other Lovlots may be slated for retirement later in the year, but those figurines (if any) have not yet been announced.  These Swarovski Lovlots Retirements can be found at www.RetiredSwarovski.com in the Swarovski Lovlots product line (down the left side of the browser window).

2012 Swarovski Crystal Retirements at RetiredSwarovski.com

Swarovski recently released the list of crystal figurines that will retire in the first half of 2012.  Over 40 Swarovski figurines are slated to be officially discontinued beginning January through June of this year.  With this Swarovski news, the popular website, RetiredSwarovski.com has now posted the complete list in the Swarovski Retiring Soon section of the web site.  This page of the web site includes links to the crystal figurines in the Swarovski shoppe to make shopping easy for collectors.

Swarovski Black Diamond Woodpecker Retires in 2012
Swarovski Black Diamond Woodpecker Retires in 2012

Some of the retirements are no longer available from the online shoppe.

I was surprised to see many of the Swarovski Lovlots Circus figurines in the list, as they only launched about 1 year ago.

Some of the longest running Swarovski figurines on the list that will no longer be produced includes:

  • Swarovski Squirrel, introduced in 1985
  • Swarovski Beagle, introduced in 1990
  • Swarovski Baby Elephant, introduced in 1995
  • Swarovski Ladybird, introduced in 1995

A couple of the Swarovski figurines retiring have colored versions that are replacing them.  This seems to be a new way to re-introduce figurines.  Kristall Buzz featured an article about this trend on Swarovski Clear Crystal Figurines in February, 2011.

  • Swarovski Mandarin Ducks – Clear: 2006 through 2012; Topaz: introduced in 2010 and still current in 2012.
  • Swarovski Tortoises, Baby (Set of 2) – Clear: 1998 through 2012; Golden Shadow: introduced in 2012.

If any of the 2012 retirements are on your wish list, get them before they become too hard to find, and a premium price must be paid to obtain them!  CrystalExhange.com has a huge list of retired Swarovski figurines, so crystal collectors should check out this site if the desired figurine is no longer available on-line or in stores.

Swarovski Bubble Mo – the Lovlots New Blue Cow!

Yesterday, I came across this Swarovski blue cow (by accident I must say) on the crystal brand’s web site: Swarovski Bubble Mo!  This discovery was quite the surprise!

Swarovski Lovlots Bubble Mo, LE 2012
Swarovski Lovlots Bubble Mo, LE 2012

According to the product description, Swarovski Bubble Mo will be an online exclusive that will retail for $65 USD.  The blue bubble decorations are laser engraved into the crystal, not tiny decals like some of the other decorations on the limited edition mo figurines.  While the Lovlots Bubble Mo will be available only in 2012, I did not see any information on the launch date.

The crystal brand produced one other blue cow: Swarovski Belle Mo. This Lovlots blue cow officially retires in 2012, but it does appear that it is no longer available in Swarovski’s online shoppe.

The Swarovski Lovlots Bubble Mo is one of several Limited Online Edition Mo figurines.  Other Swarovski Limited Online Edition Mos include:

  • Swarovski Soccer Mo, Limited Edition 2008
  • Swarovski Flower Mo, Limited Edition 2009
  • Swarovski Halloween Mo, Limited Edition 2009
  • Swarovski Country Mos, Limited Edition 2010
  • Swarovski Sunshine Mo, Limited Edition 2011

So let’s give a this Lovlots blue cow, Swarovski Bubble Mo, a warm welcome to the Lovlots Mo herd!

Crystal Exchange America has more details about Swarovski Lovlots Mos special editions.  If you are looking specifically for the Swarovski Limited Edition Mo figurines, they can be found in the Limited Edition Swarovski category of this online store.

The Black Spot granite base sets a nice contrast and further underlines the strength inherent to these famed creatures. Graceful power combined with luxurious materials which better combination could possibly grace your interior?

Other Swarovski Panthers available for purchase from the crystal brand include:

  4. Swarovski Soulmate Limited Online Edition Orange Shine Panther (copper-like) – 1096050. Introduced and sold out in 2011.

The Limited Edition Black Panther (500 units) sold out in under 48 hours according to the Swarovski web site.  The Limited Edition Orange Shine Panther (888 units) took about 3 months to sell out.

The designer for the Swarovski Soulmate Panther figurines is Heinz Tabertshofer.  All the crystal figurines are fully faceted animals attached to black spot granite bases.  The online limited editions (black and orange shine panthers) are engraved in the granite base with a unique # and the words limited online edition.

The Limited Edition Black Panther has been trading at favorable pricing to the seller on the secondary market, with selling prices in the $2900 to $3300 range.  The Limited Edition Orange Shine Panther has been trading prices very close to original retail price: $1200 – $1400.

I’m sure that crystal fanatics wish they had a crystal ball (pardon the pun) to know how this one is going to sell in the future: buy only one for their collection, or buy several in hopes of making a few bucks?  (Reminder….Swarovski indicates on their web site that quantities are limited to 3 per person).  I have purchased mine (just one). One thing for sure: you’ll want place your order now, so that you won’t have to pay secondary market prices to add this Swarovski Limited Edition to your crystal collection later.

Swarovski Aura Perfume Available in USA!

Early in 2011 I posted an article about the crystal brand officially launching Swarovski Aura Perfume.  It seemed like each time I tried to locate a purchasing source, I could only find them in the European market.  Perhaps it was FDA approval delay or issues with importing, who only knows.

In any case, today, I received an email from Swarovski announcing that the Swarovski Aura Perfume is stocked in some Swarovski Boutiques here in the USA!  In the email, there is a coupon to receive a complimentary mini spray of Aura by Swarovski.  The coupon is valid April 1 thru 15, 2012 in participating stores.

If you are a Swarovski fanatic and are interested in visiting a Swarovski Boutique for more information, the Swarovski Beauty website has a link to locate the various points of sale for Aura by Swarovski.  Simply select a city from the predefined list, and stores in that area will display with phone numbers and physical addresses.

The Swarovski Beauty web site also contains an Interview with Markus Langes-Swarovski, Swarovski Crystal Board of Directors about the conception and future of the Aura Perfume by Swarovski.

The Kristall Buzz contains several posts over the past year about the Swarovski Aura, so enjoy reading them for more information!

  • Swarovski Perfume Aura Video (March, 2011)
  • Swarovski Aura Perfume The Making of the Video (April, 2011)
  • Swarovski Aura Perfume in Swarovski SCS Magazine (May, 2011)

Swarovski has previously worked together with other companies to put other scents in luxury bottles, such as Tresor, Yves St Laurent, Jewel, Roma, and Madame Gres.
