Swarovski Clock – Crystal Time Pieces

While Swarovski may be best known for its cute crystal figurines, they also make functional figurines as well.  Some of the most useful Swarovski figurines are the Swarovski Clocks.

Our favorite crystal brand has produced nearly 20 Swarovski clock figurines.  The oldest Swarovski clocks were produced 1987 through 1992.  Those clocks are:

  • Swarovski Athena Clock
  • Swarovski Belle Époque Clock
  • Swarovski Colosseum Clock (only available in the European market)
  • Swarovski El Dorado Clock (only available in the European market)
  • Swarovski Napoleon Clock
  • Swarovski Polar Star Clock

These clocks were available with 2 different contrasting metal finishes, gold and rhodium.  They were also available with 3 different faces: Alarm face, Date face, and Moon Dial face.  The date face had numbers 1-31 instead of the “3” on the face to indicate day of the month.  The alarm face was a simple face with roman numerals.  The moon dial face also had roman numerals, but also had other dials on the face indicating phase of the moon.  All the clock-works used on the Swarovski clocks had the word ‘Swarovski’ on the face.

Five years later, under the Swarovski Selection name, the company once again began producing Swarovski crystal clock figurines featuring Seiko clock-works.  Following the years of productions below, I have added some features that are noteworthy about the different clocks:

  • Swarovski Carriage Enigma Clock: 1992 – 1998.  Swarovski Limited Edition of 6450 units.
  • Swarovski Table Helios Clock: 1992 – 2004.  Swarovski clock with Roman numerals in the crystal component.
  • Swarovski Curacao Clock: 1995 – 2000, resembles a sea shell
  • Swarovski Providence Clock: 1998 – 2003, most expensive clock retailing at $850.
  • Swarovski Allegra Clock: 1999 – 2004, most distinctive pendulum clock.
  • Swarovski Op Art Clock: 2002 – 2004, most abstract clock having no numbers on the face.

Swarovski made a single clock in the product line now known as Daniel Swarovski Home Accessories, the Swarovski Cadence Table Clock: 2002 – 2005.

Swarovski produced some non-functioning clocks in the Crystal Moments product line: Alarm Clock: 1998 – 2002 and Mantle Clock: 1996 – 2001 .  Functioning clocks in the Swarovski Crystal Moments product line include: Clock Book: 1999 – 2003, Gift Clock: 1997 – 2004, Globe Clock: 1997 – 2004 and Handbag Clock: 1997 – 2004.

There are a few more functioning Swarovski Clocks, which get the Kristall Buzz Awards:

Some 7 years after the last clock has retired, we find Swarovski maintaining presence in the time-keeping and fashion industry.  Swarovski watches are available at the online Swarovski shoppe.  I found just over 65 watches in their categories: Aila, Citra, D:Light, Dresstime, Elis, Octea, Piazza, and Rock ‘n’ Light.
